A Catnip Chile Ristra for spicy cats and party animals!! It’s a string of plush catnip-filled chiles, and a festive cat-themed ornament to hang on a Christmas tree or door.
Choose from 3 or 5 embroidered chiles (mixed red and green, 5 inches long). Untie the string of chiles for the cats, and keep the charming ornament with ribbons for yourself. Two shiny bells, with a holly sprig, jingle on the ornament; sparkly ribbons, beads and a felt burst frame the enameled cat charm. It’s so cheerful and happy!

What’s a ristra? Strings of dried chiles are a Southwest tradition, especially in New Mexico. People hang them on doors, bannisters, and patios, and ristras are said to bring good luck and health.
